Whoa
Herbert’s fault.
Herbert needs to play better
Clearly, we need to pay Ekeler.
Guys, obviously it’s Storm Nortons fault
Well, if herbert would just score every time he touches the ball then it wouldn’t matter
Taking a receiver in the first looks like a luxury with a defense this bad.
This is really feeling like exclusively a Staley issue. His defense sucks and it feels like offense’s biggest issue is philosophy. The offensive scheme itself has been good, but it feels like Staley’s decision making is what kills our drives when the offense struggles.
cut Nate Kaeding
I’m no defensive guru, but this doesn’t seem good
That doesn’t surprise me
Defensive maestro Brandon Staley
I’d have to imagine a good deal of this is heavily skewed by that historically bad week 1. It would take a whole lot of top defensive performances to outweigh how shit that game was
If they would have taken Zay Flowers instead of Quentin.. the amount of pts this sorry Defense allows would not matter at all. Fire Tolesco and Staley
I’m tired, boss.
Every single game there’s something that makes me cringe with Staleys defensive decisions. Why call a timeout on 3rd and short with Henry out of the game? There’s zero excuses with this guy considering he has the most expensive defense in the league at his disposal and he continues to be so bad that even some of our own fans are starting to turn on Herbert
On a side note, I’ve never seen so much “media” attention directed at pointing out a single coach’s failings. All this negative attention might be enough to get Spanos to break away from the norm and fire his head coach mid-season, maybe. There were no *firing* rumors after the Jaguars game, just media types calling for him to be fired. That there are firing rumors now, despite the Spanos family historically being against mid-season firing, could mean that it’s actually a possibility it may happen if the skid down continues.
Ok this is trending toward historically bad defense
Fire John Spanos
Staley needs to be fired this upcoming Sunday after the Vikings drop 49 on us
✨Defensive Guru✨
If only McCree went down after the INT.. we wouldn’t be in this predicament
Let’s Go Brandon ^staley
But but did you see how Herbert didn’t execute flawlessly on every single touch? He’s obviously rEgReSsiNg
Yet there was an opportunity to win both games in last offensive possession, and multiple fail’s occurred. Staley is feeling the heat based on his post game comments. Too bad nobody is putting a fire under any of the Spanos clan
When they say this defense is “stacked” they’re talking about money
