This whole thing is just bizarre

  1. There’s a lot I don’t like about how all this went down, and it’s real weird too but whatever. Get better big Puma. We know what you’re capable of and we love ya

  2. So he’s been going around to different doctors trying to find something wrong, even though every doctor keeps telling him he’s perfectly fine?

I know a few people like that, and they’re all out of their minds.

  3. Sounds like he’s still trying to come up with an excuse why he pitched so poor.

Isn’t going to get better sitting around not throwing.

  4. Innings jump from 2 seasons ago to last season could explain a lot of what’s behind his performance drop in the last year

  5. Unfortunately for Alek his season was over long before this. Here’s hoping he figures things out and is able to come back better than ever next season.

  6. Poor Alek. He’s become the new whipping boy now that the doomer subsection haven’t been able to rage about us not being a playoff team anymore.

He had a very bad year on the mound, and he hasn’t handled the situation very well (neither did the team, frankly), but here’s hoping he can turn it around this offseason, get his game back, and try to recoup some of the future contract value he lost this year.

  7. He needs an attitude adjustment injection to his brain and some Ozempic while they’re at it.
