All depends what stamkos wants/ is comfortable with. He has enough money, but if some other team offers 6x $10m, I wouldn’t sign him either…
Its all in Stammers hands… He sees what money we have, and what we can afford for him.. .If he wants more, then it will be it… It would def suck, but its a team-game and we dont have money to throw around… To fill his gap would be the bigger challenge…

Nothing can replace Stamkos on this squad. I think they could fall apart if they let him walk. He’s the leader and the core, and it will be a distraction for all the vets if they can’t make a deal with him.
