The issue isn’t simply just the o line coach we’ve gone through this multiple times bring ing in o line coaches from different teams and doesn’t work out. It’s mostly a lack of talent
YES, I have been saying it since the first game. This may be the worst offensive line in Giants, if not NFL, history yet everyone is pointing the finger literally everywhere else.
How about Brian daboll, who is playing parris Campbell, darius slayton, and hodgins over jalin Hyatt?
I’ve never seen such a conservative, non imaginative coach get so much praise.
It isn’t just him because the OL has been an issue way before he even got here.
Psst— the QB is supposed to help the line pre-snap
I think this mini bye week is a good time to make some coaching changes.
to anyone who says its just the players i say this:
yes it is a talent problem but is he a good OL coach? does the unit play to a level greater than or equal to the sum of its parts?
OL talent is a huge issue around the league and yet the giants OL looks worse than any other team. players come here and look worse than they do elsewhere.
its possible we have had multiple shitty OL coaches to go with multiple shitty head coaches.
did you see what jerome henderson was able to do last year with those CBs? *thats* the mark of a good coach.
a good OL coach is like a good QB or HC or GM etc, if you dont have one you need to keep looking until you get one. its too important.
