Things are heating up
But the oven is off
Whole bunch of words to say a whole lotta nothing
This to me is Cronin leaking to Miami “up your offers or he’s going elsewhere”
Things are being heated in the microwave.
They get hot for a minute….then they turn stale quickly
It’s going down again boys.
While I get the Blazers wants more for Dame, Dame has been torpedoeing his value every chance he gets with his comments on only playing for Miami.
Sure he sounds perfect in theory but what if we trade Scottie + filler and picks for Dame and he then sits out or spends the rest of his contract demanding a trade to Miami and we end up with a low Miami pick and Herro at best.
Same case with Philly if they move Maxey + filler and picks, or Phoenix with Ayton + picks. It’s a big risk and I don’t think many of the interested teams want to take that risk, especially considering the Miami FO is showing no outward signs of being desperate to make the trade, retaining the leverage they had at the start of the negotiations.
Something happens before training camp.
Please come here Dame
Dame wanted OG. Wanted Siakam.
Why would he say no to being traded here to play with exactly those guys?
Come on down to the 6ix D Lilly
Damian Lillard has a $63 million player option for 2026-27. He will be 36 years old.
There’s something going down, but there’s nothing going down.
At this point it’s safe to assume not a single one of the media spinning a version of what’s happening with Lillard has the slightest clue what’s actually going on. It’s all just click bait filler for the dead time of the off season.
Haven’t watched Dame enough to know: were his teams built mostly around his isolation offence? or was there a good mix with motion offense and ball movement ?
miami got nothing to offer. the only value they had is bam and butler.
