Kyrie was such an incredible #2 with LeBron…idk what happened there or why he felt the need to try and be the #1 on his own team, I guess I get that, but his career has not turned out the way I thouggt it would since then.
This looks so much like the dunk attempt that LeBron was fouled on right at the end of G7 in the finals
This was a great game. Sucks that my team was on the losing end but I believe this game was what forced the Warriors to change up their offensive game plan
Edit: removed turning point because somehow that implies that I think that they needed a turning point, even though I never stated that nor that they weren’t going to win it all after getting Durant

Crazy Kyrie was just 22-24 during those 3 straight Finals he was a part of.
Yeah he had prime LeBron but he was the clear cut 2nd best player putting up monster numbers vs a dynasty Warriors. Shame he left Cleveland prematurely.

An underrated aspect of Kyrie pairing so well with Lebron was Kyrie’s ability to draw defenders by being a threat to finish at the basket.
So much is made about guards that play with Lebron needing to be shooters to space the floor, and I thought when Lebron went back to the cavs it’d be Kyrie’s shooting that opened up the most shots for lebron. But Kyrie’s superhuman ability to finish at the basket opened up just as many.
When those Cavs team REALLY needed a bucket, kyrie driving to the rim and forcing the big to help at the basket just to pass to a hard cutting Lebron with a head of steam was their most unstoppable play. There’s just no answer to it

Greatest Christmas game ever to me. The 4th quarter was absolutely insane and Kyrie hit the game winner on them again.
It’s interesting how the warriors tweaked the way they defend after this specific game and it was directly responsible for them winning the next two championships so “easily”.
