I’ve only been watching NFL consistently for like 10 years but I think this is the worst call I’ve ever seen. The clip having the ref literally right there is comical.

Yeah, I’ve only been really watching NFL for 4 or 5 years and this is the worst call I’ve ever seen. Not sure if its even possible or ever happens but that line judge should face repercussions.
I can’t bitch about the refs in this game after they bailed us out on Watson’s moronic fumble.
Ref #60 should be suspended. Inexcusable to not focus when a play is 1 foot away from you.
What I don’t understand is in those situations your better off not calling it because the other team can challenge the play if he was out of bounds. When you make a call like that there is no coming back

It’s an inadvertent whistle. It happens sometimes, even in the NFL. I’ve done it as a high school referee. They actually have done a lot of training with the NFL referees to make it quite rare nowadays.

They had to call this after giving the Browns a first down on a defensive pass interference call against Murphy-Bunting when Cooper didn’t know the play call and went and blocked the CB as Deshaun threw the ball near him.
Guys come on his left foot is CLEARLY touching white grass right there. Open your eyes
