[Thad Brown] #Billsmafia 📷 had a huge impact on this #Bills win. They sounded like the louder side right from the kickoff. And Jordan Phillips says you could sense what the Commanders were thinking on their sideline. “This isn’t a home game. Why did I even come?’

  1. Thought this was interesting given the effort that was made to get 200+ seats next to each other today by local backers. Here’s a player directly saying how much that energy affected the game.

  2. The commentators didn’t acknowledge it. They said “and plenty of bills fans as usual”. It looked like mostly bills fans! I literally was wondering if the stadium was handing out blue ponchos for the rain.

  3. It was nuts. The section behind the bills bench looked like it was 80-20 bills to commanders. It was so loud. My only disappointment was that we couldn’t get enough volume to drown out the PA with a rendition of Shout after one of the touchdowns. Great atmosphere though

  4. This happens a lot at FedEx field. I’ve been to a patriots game there when Brady was still on the team and it was all patriots fans. I went when the chiefs played there a few years ago and it was all chiefs fans. Washington is a city filled with transplants. The only time it wasn’t filled with the opposing teams fans was the Vikings/redskins game I went to

  5. You know it’s bad when a penalty is called against the commanders and you can easily hear cheering, or noise on 3rd down when they have the ball.
