  1. I know power rankings don’t mean anything, but I don’t understand how someone can look at the body of work and put us below the Titans, Texans, Raiders, and Cardinals

  2. Dumb as usual. They bumped the Texans up 8 spots for beating the Jags, but only gave us a 2 spot bump for beating the Ravens when we just got done spanking that same Texans team a week ago? Make it make sense.

  3. When power rankings determine playoffs and super bowls I’ll care. Until then its all just non sense.

  4. Utter disrespect. The words say “impressively” win but then the ranking says they aren’t actually watching the game and how the dline and oline are playing.

  5. I have a long running joke about NFL power rankings… basically “oh no, how will we make a major bowl now?”…. In other words, I don’t really give a crap about them.

  6. We beat the number 7 team from last week with our backup QB and move up 2 spots but the Texans who we beat handily last week beat the number 9 team from last week and move up 8 spots to 6 spots ahead of us??????? makes literally no sense

  7. I don’t mind actually. I’ve bought into our hype before and been disappointed.

If we keep winning, who cares about power rankings?

  8. These people don’t watch us play. I’m telling you. Listen to most media members talk about us and they have no clue. I’d be surprised if they could even name more than a handful of players on our team. Once teams(especially ones in small markets) have a disaster season like we did in 2022 and are deemed to be in rebuild mode they are then largely forgotten about and ignored.

  9. I’ve completely stopped paying attention to sports media for the past few years. I turn the game on at 12:59 and either turn my tv off or go to another game the moment it ends and unfollowed every sports page aside from the team pages. Way more enjoyable that way

  10. If the Bears and Broncos aren’t both below us, this list is illegitimate.

Edit: just checked, Broncos are 31 and Bears are 32. I’ll allow it.

  11. The Colts play 0 prime time games this year. 0 motivation to build them up. If they keep winning be curious to see what happens later in the year.

  12. The Broncoes, Bears, Vikings, and Panthers are all 0-3.

    There are 11 1-2 teams.

The fact that the Colts are 2-1 and listed at #28 is absurd.

  13. The colts could be 3-0 and they’d still find a way to keep us at the bottom 5, they’re just mad we beat one of their little media darling teams last week

  14. The rank may be slightly low but I think it’s fair to be cautious. Our defense has been really good, there’s a lot to be excited about, especially run defense and getting to the QB. The offense has been pretty sluggish but that is to be expected with a new coach, and a new QB who has missed six of 12 quarters. The Houston win looks more impressive after last week but they’re still probably a bottom-third team. As exciting as the Ravens win is, it feels fluky to me. There’s a lot to be excited about but there is also a lot of reason to stay cautious. While slightly low, I don’t think we’re outside the bottom third yet. Certainly not upper-quartile of the upper-quartile yet.

  15. The Colts can be a dark horse playoff team as long as we don’t run Richardson into early retirement

  16. Yea this is BS. We are a mid tier team at this point. I mean the Colts are better than: Chicago, Texans, Titans, Cardinals, Saints, Broncos, Falcons, Raiders, Redskins( aka commanders), meby Jaguars(maeby cause they beat us at Week 1), Jets, Giants, could beat NE, maeby TB,

  17. Don’t take it too seriously. Power rankings is more about vs expectation than vs opponents. Nobody wants to shoot us up the list and then if we regress they have to send us back down. We will slowly climb through the season and eventually get the respect we deserve.

  18. The defense has been soo patient with letting the offense get its act together. This team has some spicy sauce in its meatballs
