  1. So basically his work ethic issues mean he dominated his competition in college……… without even trying

    My god

  2. It’s not just that he pursued the RB and falcon punched the ball out.. it’s that he drilled him again whilst on the ground.. we’re respected on D but now we’re going to be feared. He’s a fucking dawg

  3. UGA fan here, I was so fucking ecstatic seeing Carter go to you guys. Dude has always been a beast and the entire league are dummies for letting him slip in the draft.

  4. If he keeps playing at this level he should be OROY & an all pro. He’s clearly playing at top 4 DT level right now.

  5. I expected him to be good but… not this fast. And we didn’t need him to be, we had time for him to learn and get up to NFL game speed and all that. But… this is wild.

  6. He’s a DAWG. He’s looking like he’s gonna be at least a perennial all-pro level player. Its fucking unreal

  7. In addition to banning the tush push they should ban the eagles drafting cause it’s not fair.

  8. top 5 interior defenseman rankings on PFF has three guys under the age of 23… All from the SEC too… next generation is here.

  9. He might becone the best dt in the nfl dude is crazy good and with cox as a mentor he cant get anything better

  10. Carter has put the league on notice. He has to be double teamed all the fucking time to keep him somewhat contained.

  11. He was the best player on that UGA defense the past 2 seasons which included #1 overall pick last year Trayvon Walker

  12. I admit….in the off-season I tend to overemphasize possible locker room or off field things. By a lot.

I blame it on trauma from a certain driveway push-up enthusiast. Next question!

I wasn’t upset we got Carter at all. I was a little leery. But, while he could go and be a moron at any point in his career, I just don’t feel any worry about it anymore.

You can’t possibly overemphasize a possibility when you see what he does on the field.

Gobbling a double team to free Cox for the sack, and then meeting him there to get half of it….followed by that pursuit and punch out the very next play was one of the most incredible 1-2 plays I’ve seen a guy have in a long time.

This is a very bad man.

  13. Best line I heard for a pod last week was how on one play it looks like he just teleports to the other side of the Guard. Just “blip” and he’s past him.

    That’s elite handwork.

  14. He is fast becoming our version of Micah Parsons.

And here I thought Nolan Smith might fill that role for us…

  15. It’s crazy that we lost Javon Hargrave and got someone that’s better than him for way less money.
