1. I get that Philly wanted to run Britain out of town for a second time, but I’m glad we stuck with him. Dude was on fire yesterday.

   I’m really hoping this is a good sign for our ST unit moving forward. We’ve had a few decent plays now which was VERY rare last year. Good returns. Good stops. A forced fumble. Clay might’ve finally shown he knows what he’s doing after a pretty horrific tenure leading up to this year.

2. Where all the fans that called for this guy to get axed last year? shit this year too?

3. Small sample size, but he seems to be getting better. It’s no longer him receiving the ball and getting mauled into the shadow realm immediately. He’s actually doing pretty well.

4. Pro bowl maybe?

5. i forget if this stat is actually meaningful but just eye test wise Covey has done a good job.

6. I’m happy he’s not getting lit up immediately after making the catch. Dude is tough as nails to take the kind of hits he took last year.

7. I’m really impressed with the returning and that long return last night. That absolutely lit up the whole team.

   It seems to this point Covey has been given the chance with better unit play. He’s had that shifty speed but it’s hard to use it when the other 10 guys aren’t doing the job.
