Brian Wright was very clear at the Draft Lottery: we are building this thing slowly and wisely. We are not skipping steps in our development and have learnt from all the teams trying to do that who fucked up their trajectory around young stars and spent years trying to chase their tails. The only way we get Jrue is if he is a salary dump, or we think he is leading up to a title – breaking news: he isn’t either.
