I’d offer Brogdan Al Pritchard and a pick or two pretty quick
Everyone’s including Brogdon in their fantasy trade proposals, and sure, you need his salary to have a hope of matching Holiday’s, but I don’t see Portland being interested in him. He doesn’t fit their timeline and crowds the backcourt.
We’d probably have to get a third team involved who could use Brogdon. Maybe the Clippers.

Does brogdon + pp + picks work salary wise? I’ve lost track of how the new CBA rules work. If we could pull that off, it would be fantastic. His defense would be huge.

Jrue Holiday is Marcus Smart but in italic font. We traded him for a reason, he is not worth the money plus the additional assets we’d need to send to make it work. Remember how he got exposed during last years playoffs? Pass
Ok I’ve been advocating for Pritchard to be the starting PG everyday for months now. Having said that, fuck Pritchard for some Jrue Holiday.

Portland wouldn’t do it unless they could get white or rob and lots of picks. They wouldn’t have interest in brogdon or horford. Celtics would have to match 36M, so it would take a lot to get him
It would be great to get jrue, but I think the Celtics can beat the Bucks as is.
They won’t have the perimeter defense to slow down the Jays. Celtics have rained 3s on them for years, so the added firepower 34yo Dame provides doesn’t really scare me that much. They also have a rookie head coach, and will have to completely change the way they play to maximize dame on offense and hide him on defense.
Its an old team with injury concerns. They definitely got better, but so did the Celtics. I would wait until the deadline to make a deal if necessary.
