  6. People are freaking out for no reason. This is AMAZING news considering this is probably the injury he was talking about in the Playoffs and it was a successful surgery that hopefully fixed it. 8-10 weeks put us at the end of November, so barely even into the season and plenty of hockey for him to get into the groove of things and get us into the playoffs.

  13. He was injured at the end of last season, he had five and a half months off, how is this just happening now? From “day to day” to back surgery…. seems a bit sus. Hope we get some actual information about what happened.

  15. I get that the initial reaction is to freak out but half of the conference makes the playoffs. Just tread water at around .500 until big cat is healthy and we have a decent shot at the playoffs

  20. We’ve had top guys out before. Silver lining: the other guys know they can’t coast into the season; they have to step it up from day one and don’t have two months to “figure it out.” Thoughtful, measured reaction: $#@&^!!!
