NBA Rumors: Suns Have ‘Ongoing’ T.J. McConnell Interest After Damian Lillard Trade

He was good for us last year, great high energy player who I’m pretty sure provided leadership; question is who do the suns give us?

Love T.J. but it makes sense to move him from a roster standpoint.

Nembhard should be the 2nd string PG. I’m happy keeping McConnell as the 3rd string PG. Awesome veteran leader and fill in during injuries. There’s value in having 3 competent point guards on a roster. But I’m sure he would prefer to be 2nd string on a contender getting legit minutes. He could be that hustle and energy piece that the Suns need to win a championship.
He’s not going anywhere. He’s basically a coach that steals the ball at this point.
They can have him for Kevin Durant. Fair trade in my eyes!
I just got his jersey for Christmas this year, stay away from my boy!
We will do right by TJ, but I’m not sure the Suns have anything we might want.

From a team standpoint, I don’t see much benefit from trading TJ or Buddy unless they ask out to ring chase. We’ve loaded the roster with potential and need their veteran leadership to help growth.
