Tobias Harris has been a big net negative every season in the playoffs. 2019 Raptors series might be the worst one though. Tobi shoots the ball poorly v any decent defense in the playoffs (Raptors 2019, Boston 2020, Miami 2022, Boston 2023] and not to mention he becomes a cone on D too. Its insane how Celtics players shot the ball better being guarded by Tobias than Harden in the playoffs last season. Sixers won’t get out of the second round as long as Tobias is starting. We already have a 5 year playoff sample that backs this up & in the last 3 years alone our opponents were over 9 points better than us when Tobias was on the floor without Embiid.
Additionally these stats shows Embiid ain’t half as bad as people claim he is in the postseason. Go on PBP Stats and look at Embiid & Tobias come the playoffs and you see Embiids been a net positive every season and Tobi has been a net negative every season. I’m sure you guys have to be sick and tired of watching Tobias brick catch & shoot 3s when it matters & consistently pump fake wide open 3s and miss layups. And that’s what makes me dislike Tobias Harris so much. He statistically chokes harder than anyone else come the playoffs and every year everyone gets blamed apart from him.

This is such a cope, Tobias is supposed to be the 3rd or 4th best player. We all love embiid but he’s never elevated his game in the playoffs, actually can’t even bring his regulars season play to the playoffs either. There is no shot at playoff success without embiid massively improving his playoff performance.
Yup this is 100% accurate and why Tobias needs to be off the team ASAP and all the people who say he would be okay on a lesser contract are idiots. His level of play dips crazily against good opponents and he just doesn’t play a winning brand of basketball.
Teams win tough playoff series because of their stars. All we needed was Joel to step up one time in some of these series and take a game over and dominate. It hasn’t happened

No he was right. Embiid doesn’t win us playoff games. And when we’re losing one, if he’s even in the game and not injured, he pouts. He’s not going to be a champion in Philly. I think it’s time we move on from him. The process is over
