  13. Lmao maybe don’t make boneheaded errors every game of the series and you could still be in the playoff hunt. I actually was feeling bad for some of the players because they had a great second half and these games don’t mean anything for us, but these commentators being jackasses makes me not care at all anymore lol

  18. I hope a Cub breaks a record/sets an earmark in a similar context so they can empathize a bit. That was quite an accomplishment for Ronald; it just so happened to come at a pivotal moment when the Cubs were still in the wildcard chase. Braves were ready with that video regardless of the game context. Plenty of games have been paused to allow for ovation.

  20. They’re so hung up on the montage; like the montage was the sole reason for the stoppage. The montage was filling time while they replaced the base, right?

  22. They were just salty the whole time. Ended up saying something yesterday about how they weren’t actually mad about the 70th stolen base and before all that in game 2 they were whining about fireworks going off after a strikeout lol.

    I love how this team has just broken multiple broadcasting crews and I can’t wait to see how much more UnPrOfEsSiOnAl we can be in the postseason.

  27. I have literally zero love for the Cubs after the past few years. Only the Phillies get more hate now. Their fans are pricks, completely rude to visitors, and the org as a whole from the announcers to the management is just toxic negativity.
    They deserve to only win 1 WS every 100 years. Fuck em.

  30. They tried their hardest to say they don’t care about it, and then comment about it the 1st inning of the next game. Fucking sad.

  31. I would have rather seen the montage of the 85 yard throws than the comedy of literal errors by a shambles of a Cubs team.

  32. A short montage is definitely to blame for the Cubs being swept and definitely not them forgetting how to field the ball.

    I get that your team is stinking it up and the playoffs seem out of reach now, but the Cubs lost those games. The montage had nothing to do with their errors, bad execution and running into the best team in baseball at such an inconvenient time. The Cubs got buzz sawed. End of story.

    But if you’re a baseball fan in general, take it in and appreciate what you just witnessed and appreciate it for goodness sake. Ronald earned those 2 minutes.
