I need to know… where are we gona this magical cap space from. And are we really… truly.. honestly.. going to trade away our picks for next year. Like , don’t tell me we’re in the shitter, re”tooling” our defense and o line , with late round picks this season. Literally to blow away next years savings , on JT.
Tbh I don’t think it’s out of the question. Les and Sean are the type to go against consensus and pay a running back. And as stated many times in this sub we have 64 mil in cap space next year.
I would much rather wait for free agency and sign one of the FA running backs (jacobs, saquon) than give up a 2nd rounder+ AND have to pay JT. If we’re trading picks it should be for elite help on the dline (with oline coming second) imo. But nothing should surprise us when it comes to the way the McSnead Rams operate at this point.
