Opening weekend did you see MCDC or anyone on the Lions complaining about Juwan Taylor? Nope, they’re not calling it, doesn’t matter, not gonna change, on to the next play.
Lions knew the clock was at 0:00. Also knew it wasn’t going to change. Just one of several points of adversity that are present in every NFL game.
SOL mentality: we’re not good enough to overcome mistakes. If the refs screw us it’s their fault if we lose.
Brand New Lions mentality: we’re built for this. We can overcome anything. We can beat you anywhere. Challenge accepted.
Four or five laughable calls in only one quarter of play and still get dog-walked at home.
