  1. Miggy on the importance of being a veteran and taking care of the rookies:

    > Being a veteran, I always like to take care of the young players so they can have some kind of reference when they first played in the big leagues and someone took care of them. Hopefully, when they become veterans and leaders of the teams, they take care of the rookies as well.

  2. I wasn’t the biggest Puig fan. Didn’t hate him, just found him frustrating. But I’ll always remember a game vs the Jays in Toronto in the summer of 2013. The Dodgers came back late, and if I recall correctly Puig hit a huge home run to center to cap off the come back. It was one of those moments when you could tell that team was special.

Anyway, when he came back to the dugout the guys were bouncing around, they were loud. Puig stepped into the dugout, high fives to all around him and exclaimed, “GWAT A TEAMG!!!” in his thick accent. It was hilarious.

This team reminded of that moment many times this season because they truly seem like a special group, much more than the ‘13 team (even though they were pretty good).

The only other teams that I felt truly deserved that label have been the ‘17 and ‘20 teams. Miggy has been a HUGE part of that. Thanks, Miggy Ro.

  3. God I do not understand expensive shoes at all but I do understand how much I love him and feel his generosity!

  4. Is anyone else crying because I didn’t expect to be doing that right now. Idk I just love this team of rookies and veterans

  5. That was wholesome af

What’s funny is that a prior post I just saw on Reddit was the Indiana Pacers dropping a $9k steakhouse bill on a rookie who hasn’t played a single fucking game yet.
