Hitting the pylon is irrelevant. It was because there wasn’t clear and convincing evidence to reverse the call on the field that his right toe hit the turf @ 0:20.
Because I’m convinced the zebras are hellbent on punishing Payton for bountygate. The calls (and no calls) this year have WILD
They couldn’t be sure the cleat didn’t scrape a blade of grass
Could’ve gone either way tbh
The rules expert for CBS even said that shouldn’t have been a TD. We’ve been getting railed by the refs this season
Big difference between confirmed and not overturned. Probably should have been overturned but it wasn’t “confirmed”
I’m ok with It cause we got the win and I had moore on a TD parlay that paid 350
the second and third angles clearly show his foot didnt touch ground. “no clEAR AnD ObVIOUs rEaSoN TO OvERtUrN” my ass

This just in NFL ref are blind. They have been worse than the replacement refs. Look at last week when they called Cooper out when he had a mile between him and the sideline.
I’ve always thought the pylon was a part of the end zone. I learned something today.
New Orleans fans warned us about this. The zebras absolutely hate Sean with a passion. We won’t get shit for calls.
Both teams were playing at a college level so they used college rules. 1 foot down is a catch.
OMG I KNOW!!! What the fuck has been up with weird calls going against us
IIRC it wasn’t confirmed, they said the call stands which means there wasn’t irrefutable evidence to overturn the TD call?
Welcome to being coached by Sean Payton.
They didn’t confirm the call.. the call stood because they couldn’t verify the foot didn’t touch the ground. They have to have conclusive evidence to over turn a call
Who has to answer for this? This is so obvious, will the league address this?
Serious question. Are there repercussions for refs that obviously blow calls? They are more than happy to fine the hell out of players for making mistakes while they are playing a super fast game. These refs are BLOWING calls that they are able to review in slow motion. There has to be some kind of accountability, right?
Because the ref is fucking blind and the scoring reviews only change to fit the NFL narrative
nfl officiating makes me physically ill
this is why people think the nfl is rigged calls like this then the jets kc game where a o lineman held a d lineman for like 8 seconds. the d lineman was even waving his arms like ref ref ref look. patty ran for the first and many more. only for a flag to be thrown but then it being illegal contact on the jets d
Apparently the David Blaine levitation trick counts as a foot down
His foot hit the pylon. Which by rule is an extension of the field.
Sorry to be that guy, but the pylon is a part of the field, so he did get the one foot in the end zone and the the other to hit the pylon.
Looks like both feet are down inbounds. How is it not a catch?
