Well shit. He’d been playing pretty well too. Time to see what Steen is made of I guess
Question is do we roll with Opeta (known quantity, reliable but average at best) or Steen (unknown, crazy high ceiling, rookie with no NFL experience)?
Depends on what “several weeks” means I guess. If it’s a game or two, probably just go with Opeta and hope we get by. If it’s more than that, might as well throw Steen to the wolves and see what he’s got, because he could make Jurgens’ absence go a lot better in the long-run if he is good as advertised.
Bummer, we lose our starting RG and our top back up Center. Hoping he has a quick recovery
Great news considering out for the season was the other option.
hope its a non-IR injury.
Juuuuust great
Not ideal right before Aaron Donald, but at least it sounds like he will be back
Opera is solid. We’ll be fine
Other reports stating Sirianni said “week to week” so fingers crossed.

I mean bottom line is if you were to pick someone on the line who would be injured for 2 weeks id say this is the best case scenario. Not worried. Just get healthy soon.
Aaron Donald smiles gleefully from a distance
This is why you spend an early 3rd round pick on a backup guard. Steen should be able to come in for a month and not be a total liability
The injury luck regression is hitting this team hard.
Five weeks until we play the Cowboys, seven weeks until we play the Chiefs. Hopefully he’s back by those games
Time for FIGHT STEEN FIGHT
Considering Steen hasn’t suited up yet and has been a healthy scratch up to this point, maybe some in this sub should pump the breaks on him
Not good. Bad/injured/reshuffled O-Lines are the number 1 reason for a promising team’s season to get wrecked.
Just shows how awfully lucky we were last year and we really should have fucking sealed the deal with a SB trophy. Fuck you Gannon, and fuck you field curator for Glendale, AZ
Dear god make the sua opeta nightmare end
Sucks, but Sua looked good yesterday, so I’m not sweating about it.
