This is kind of a funny narrative I see on Reddit these days, but I really don’t think it’s true. I mean it’s possible, but it’s not like Young was a surefire #1 regardless of who had the pick.
It’s entirely possible, if not probable, Caserio would have picked Stroud at 1 anyway
I’ll always be convinced that was on purpose since the colts knew what was on the line had they won
