  1. It’s the right call but wow is it weird not seeing Buxton’s name on the postseason roster.

Love the roster overall though, I don’t think I can think of a change I’d want to make.

  2. Royce. Two-feet Correa. We gomq.

    But Byron 🙁

I hope we can advance so we can see him eventually.

  3. Its hard not to feel absolutely fantastic about this roster. That is a BEASTLY playoff roster.

I feel bad for Buxton, because we know he works hard, and is a good influence. But its been since August 1st when he last saw the MLB field.

I am relieved he is not on the roster because of it.

  4. I feel bad, but I’m happy no Buxton.

That bat, much like Gallos is a liability.

  5. That bullpen is fucking lights out. Although, I’m all for Lopez throwing a CGSO. I was there for his last one.

  6. -Ober not needed this round
-Keuchel injured, so there’s a spot for Funderburk (probably would have gone that way even with no injury)
    -Buxton not healthy enough yet
-Luplow out (no LHP starting for Jays)
-Gallo out (possibly not 100% healthy)
-Without those 3, there’s room for Stevenson as a pinch runner/defensive replacement

  7. Feel bad for Ober and Buxton, but I’m genuinely excited. Can’t imagine the conversations Baldelli had to have

  8. Good with it. Bux is too rusty right now to be on the roster. So excited to see what Royce can do in postseason play!

  9. Anyone know if Royce is DH-ing or playing the infield?

I’m guessing DH given the other active infielders

  10. The best part about this roster is that it still feels like a 100% playoff roster, despite one of our best players being left off. This team is so deep, it’s incredible. Great day to end a streak!

  11. I worry about Royce having to run…even if he does only DH…just being cautious …nothing more ..nothing less…

  12. Is there a meaning behind the graphics next to Lopez, Correa, Kepler, and Jeffers? Or is that just design?

    HRs and shutouts?

  13. Unpopular opinion incoming, I think. I’m really disappointed Buck isn’t on the roster. I would’ve included him over Funderburk or Stevenson. I would’ve liked to have him on the bench, and use him if we need a late game pinch runner or pinch hitter (against a lefty).

Hopefully you’ve read this far, because all that being said, I trust the decision. Rocco and Falvine know more about his health than we do. Buck truly must not be healthy enough to steal a base or put together a solid AB. I’m still bummed out, but it’s all good. Hopefully we advance and we can include him next round. Who knows, maybe that’s part of the plan!

    WIN TWINS!!!
