11. Wow, Pens look slow and sloppy. Good job on Ott to put that away easily, but Pitt doesn't look like they are going to have a good season if that is they way their top guys are gonna play.

12. I got to say I was at this game and as a Nova Scotian it was a great game to watch and the crowd as really good despite no goals for the penguins. But my favourite part of the day was that I got a picture with Tim stutzle before the game

14. 2 weeks ago, I was looking at the Sens roster… theyre not to be underestimated. They have great players and Korpisalo is a huge aquisition for the team. 40 shots saved tonight!!

17. Im liking the way the pens roster looks here, good ice control. You see panic and chaos with young teams like the sens, the pens control the ice and manage opportunities well. Hell of a performance by Korp though, was seeing everything here.

22. even with the refs in the pens back pocket, they still lost the game and got shut out. They look so old and slow. EK65 is gonna have a terrible season

23. This must be one of the first games in a long time to be played with the old style round crease markings. Usually for these special event games they repaint the ice but here they just left the mooseheads rink markings and the Q uses the round crease.

26. Great game for the boys. Now keep this going into the regular season. I would be willing to bet my house on them making the playoffs. Of course i won’t though 😂. Refs were absolutely horrid, seen a mean hack from Crosby early on and went undetected but they sure didn’t miss any of ottawas wrong doings, even added in a few extra for good measure. Pittsburgh still can’t score never mind winning.

37. Sens are my Darkhorse this year. If they can get into the playoffs I really like their chances and the way the teams built. Lots of people sleeping on the senators.

38. As a Sens fan I’m really hopeful and optimistic for this coming season! They’re looking great!

    However, I’ve noticed this preseason and last season that they have a hard time finishing strong. They tend to take their foot off the gas in the 3rd. The Pens put up 19 shots in the 3rd, but thankfully Korpi was on fire! That being said, you can’t rely on the goalie to bail you out, the boys need to learn to keep their game tight in the third.

39. Korpisalo with his first doughnut! Looked sharp tonight. Refs were really one sided. Tried everything to get Pittsburgh back in the game. Senators are going to turn some heads this year much like New Jersey last year
