Who remembers when Vogel said Russ was flying up and down the court and finding people left and right during training camp? Then at the end of the season, reports said Vogel and Russ actually butt heads during training camp.
This is how it starts. Dude has the tools, and realizes he needs to change his game to get to the next level. If he gets after it, and becomes consistent, he’s not only going to help the Lakers win a chip, he’s going to help himself to a fat contract.
Can we get some Dlo to buy in next? He’s basically a 1 year rental with that option. He plays well, and earns another bag. He plays poorly, and the Lakers ship him, or he leaves for a little more than the 17m he’s making on the 2 year.

This is the best time to build good habits, AD needs to communicate expectations at the 5 to Woods & Hayes especially when he’s at the 4 during those games. Basics come first too, especially on D.

It’s only training camp but this is what want to hear. Him being engaged and focus on defense. We all know he’s not going to be a elite defender but if he’s more engaged and focused this year he can at least not be a liability.
