Blackhakws forward Connor Bedard had a goal and 2 assists in Chicago’s 4-2 preseason victory over the Red Wings.

Not a flashy goal, but it's on the board. Not what I expected but it counts.
ngl kind of weird seeing players who were big on other teams (Hall, Perry, Foglino,Jones, Johnson), all on the Hawks this year. It's gonna take a while to get used to.
Sure he might be considered a "goal scorer" but I think he'll rack up more assists than goals this season. I bet he'll have a ton of assists just from rebounds. The kids got a heavy shot. It's going to be tough to handle. Feel bad for the tendys 😂

Did Detroit have Houdini in net? The puck cleared out and sent right back to centre ice and all of a sudden the goalie is gone? Nobody was even pressing Bedard that much considering there was 3 guys there.

I guess Murphy’s goal was without an assist, same with Corey Perry’s second goal. Apparently all the other goals had no assist except for the empty net goal now there is an assist by the Chicago goalie. Wow I think you can put better commentators than these two!

Bedard has been doing an alright job, but he doesn’t seem like he’s gonna light the league on fire. He kinda looks like a fringe superstar. I mean he’s playing against AHL comp, but he is only 7 games into real pro competition so it might take some adjusting. Time will tell.
This kid is getting 70-90pts and winning the Calder easy. Imagine he got like 120 and won the hart and Ted Lindsay too. 😅
They’re already double-covering the kid 😅

He wasn't happy that was his first goal..don't blame him though..you can bet it's going come up time and time again no matter what he does in nhl
I like the second assist Bedard got in this video the most. It really shows his awareness of where his teammates are out there. It even looked like Taylor Hall was not expecting the pass from Bedard.
