  1. I like India but I wouldn’t be opposed to a trade of him. Obviously other teams are aware of his defensive limitations. Offensively he’s right about average. The team has a glut of IF guys at the moment. Depth isn’t a bad thing though.

I also really can’t see the Reds getting the kind of deal done for India that fans would be okay with. Other teams aren’t going to value him as highly as fans do. He isn’t going to bring back a top of the rotation starter by himself. Maybe he learns the OF?

  2. Thanks to injuries, he will always have use for us, even if he becomes a utility man. His defense is a liability at a premium position, but I wouldn’t mind seeing him pick up right field and fill in for which ever infielder is on the IL.

I trust his bat will improve.

  3. I’m an Indy fan. Having said that it’s important to do what’s best for the team. If moving him can get a great arm in the pen (not decent or an experiment or someone looking for a bounce back) then you should think hard about it. But he’s really statistically kinda avg on paper but he is absolutely a leader. An intangible.

  4. Trade him if we get a great offer. I just don’t see some giving up a young, good, controllable pitcher for him.
