Oilers are cup contenders and Skinner is an average/above average nhl goalie, this is the best test we could possibly get for the youngsters
Not seeing this posted anywhere or being talked about but shame on the Flames coaching staff last season for not giving Phillips a fair shot, dude looks awesome in the preseason with the Caps and is basically set to make the team. Super happy for Phillips but hopefully shenanigans like the ones conducted last year are far removed as we start to enter into the regular season.
