Idk it’s really one of those things where if he was a different position he would likely have a job but a punter is one of those things where it’s not worth the drama. Like is he really that good? Also just read that he can’t hold for kicks.
If Gillikin costs us a game I wouldn’t hesitate to try out the punt God, why not.
Having a good punter can really flip the field position. Can’t blame them if they bring him in for a tryout and get placed on the team. He was cleared of all charges. Also feel like the drama would only last at most a week. Heck Watson is still in the NFL.
Araiza has a really strong leg, but his accuracy is bad. Every punt would be a touchback unless it’s from inside our 15, which is a problem
