Well I don’t see Bryce getting an ERA title
Babe is legit the GOAT though. 700 home runs and was a damn good pitcher.
What’s the most realistic chance Harper would have of catching Babe in any of these? Gotta be hits right?
If Bryce faced the same level of competition, the fans would have accused him of being a witch.

Babe Ruth that only played with plumbers
Cant compare eras like that. Babe was playing against brick layers and factory workers, lets be real. He was also facing the same picther 6 times in a game, not having a new lefty reliever come in every at bat to face him.
Bryce also didn’t get to bat against hungover divorce attorneys
Babe Ruth never played against black people and Latinos were barely in the league at all until the 40s
He was great in his era tho, but the level of competition was so low
Babe would have been out by 10 feet blowing thru Dusty’s stop sign
Bryce also 10x better looking and we survive on vibes

TIL Babe stole bases
I read a bio of Ruth a few years ago that debunked some of the legendary off-field behavior. But his talent was truly one of a kind. Ohtani has nothing on Ruth, to be honest. Ruth was arguably the best hitter and pitcher in baseball by his early 20s. And for all the criticism of his training, he played for 22 seasons. At 37, he hit 41 home runs with a .489 on base.
You know what I see? I see 2 MVPs to 1. That says all I need to know. Clearly harper is 2x more valuable.
Put Bryce or any half competent hitter VS pitchers of that era and this wouldn’t even be a thing. Babe would get crushed. Also can be said, Take any starter from a playoff team and place them in that Era. OMFG.
The training, work ethic, sports science is just way beyond what it was 100yrs ago.
I hate these takes. And this goes for every sport. Esp Basketball. Talking about the GOAT Lebron vs MJ etc. MJ would absolutely cook in this soft ass NBA VS what the era he played in. Then your going to say, but the 3’s. MJ was an animal. He would have been Steph Curry level 3’s if that is what was needed to win and that is how the game was played.
Horrible take.
I am not going to get into the NFL with rule changes over the years.
Your comparing apples to 2×4’s.
I will always say this… Ruth batted against modern day BP with 250 foot fences. Just about any modern day player would smoke him and he probably wouldn’t even get out of single A.
