  1. The more we wait the more it goes down. Does his age changing to 23 affect anything, no.

My take is that he is worth a first plus some sort of conditional pick based on an extension – similar to the Ridley deal.

  2. I’m 4 years older and 6 inches shorter and I bet I get an NFL TD this year before he does

  3. Tony G came here at age 33, played every game for 5 years and went to 4 Pro Bowls. Pitts has a LOT of career left.

  4. Nah..he is too valuable as a decoy. What team wouldnt want a guy like him drafted at #4 overall to decoy for them. I think most teams are going to use the Falcons blueprint for drafting Top 8 receivers for decoying/running wind sprints.

  5. Bro is 3 months younger then me and has been in the NFL for 2 full seasons… I just graduated college 4-5 months ago.

This makes me feel old and like I should be doing more with my life.

Life sucks… don’t get old. I should’ve listened to my dad when he told me that.

  6. If we get offered like a late 1st and 3rd for him by a dead set Jerry Jones or something, we’d be so so dumb not to take it.

He isn’t bad but the talent obviously hasn’t translated to make up for a 1:4 pick in that class. That is slightly frustrating (he obviously can still be good) but not even the real reason, Art is fully intent on him being a run of the mill 00’s era TE, there is zero emphasis towards having him fulfill the role you’d expect from his draft capital and profile. Please trade him, use the picks to move up for Maye or something, I don’t know. I just know Art is a low ceiling HC, Ridder is obviously bad, and Pitts isn’t worth what we paid for even with the two obviously massive performance effecting variables described above. Give whatever staff that (hopefully) comes in next year (Ben Johnson?) the capital it needs to either move up and take their guy or to draft in their (hopefully) more modern vision. It’s going to be a pretty shitty situation when you draft a clearly underperforming top 5 pass catching pick and you still feel for him in full, he deserves a lot better even if he does just max out at athletic/good NFL level TE.
