This is why Schoen and Daboll arent freaking out about this season. Yes they got shiny new toys but they are still in cap tell thanks to Getty.
Credit the team for not mortgaging the future for some cap relief.
The “clean up cap hell” was always going to be a 2 yr process. The hope was competitive play in those two years with year 1 being a MASSIVE over-achieve. Now thus year the shit hitting the fan.
At least he’s played good games before.
Good news is we will pretty much be done with Golladay, Jackson, and Williams cap hits next year…
Bad news is Daniel Jones’s cap hit next year is going to be really REALLY ugly
