Yes please. Thought this was a reasonable possibility from the time Cash proved to be a decent manager.
Having managerial success in a franchise that does what Cleveland wants to do, but slightly more successfully? It’s a good fit on paper!
He’ll get sell-out crowds for playoff games in Cleveland, that’s for sure.
I always liked Cash, this would be great.

I’d be for it but I didn’t think he’d leave Tampa.
“Cash is under contract with the Rays through the 2025 season. He has two more years committed to managing Tampa Bay before he can move on to another organization.”
Peter gammons has been full of shit for years. Anything to help his Boston red Sox. In part this could do that.

The tweet is not written very clearly. Kevin Cash is under contract until after next season at the earliest. He wouldn’t be “leaving” Tampa. He’d be getting fired before he is managing elsewhere, and I don’t see the Rays firing him.
We can go from Francona leaving in pitchers way too long to Cash pulling them “too early” lol
