  1. Mahomes has now beaten every team in the NFL

Edit: For further details, he did it in under 100 starts (99) and while only having 1 start against 9 of the teams (Miami, Carolina, New Orleans, Atlanta, Dallas, Washington, New York Giants, Green Bay and Minnesota). He is an absurd 22-4 against NFC Teams and a slightly less absurd 57-16 against AFC Teams. It’s going to be a long time before anyone matches his pace.

  2. /r/NFL has never heard of an unsportsmanlike conduct being waived off with a warning.

    AKA a sideline warning.

  3. It wasn’t pass interference and the helmet penalty wouldn’t have mattered. This is what we’ll be saying for a week.

  4. I can’t believe the refs called 6 more penalties for 35 more yards on us after we paid them off. I want my money back

  5. Someone gotta make a shit call/no call compilation because we were getting screwed 90% of that game but they only remember 1 correct call (again)

  6. I don’t think we benefited, really.

But I’d love if refs would stop fucking up so I don’t have to hear about it all the time.

  7. Welcome to your 2023/24 Chiefs! No domination but finding ways to win. Get used to. And keep the antacids and heart pills nearby. Next weeks mission: Do not let the Broncos get well on us!

  8. I think that the 2021 AFCCG counts as Mahomes beating the Chiefs (😭), so he has in fact beaten every team in the NFL

  9. 4-1 we move. Offense showed flashes of being elite. Rashee Rice is gonna be clear WR1 come playoff time

  10. Remember when NE put Gronk in at free safety for Hail Mary coverage and the Dolphins did laterals instead and Gronk face planted trying to run them down and they scored and won

  11. It feels like we’re slowly starting to see who our top receivers are going to be – Rice, Ross, Watson, and MVS.

  12. Glad the chiefs won but we seriously need to figure out their pass rush, Cusions had WAY too much time.

  13. Happy with the win but not a big fan of the play calling especially toward the end of the game. Needlessly gave the Vikings a chance to tie the game when we could have sealed it with a conversion on 3rd and 6, but instead choose to check down and punt.

Give the best QB in the league the chance to seal the game with an attempted pass forward to get that first down. We also stalled on 2 and 1 and elected to keep running, not giving Mahomes a chance to pass the ball and convert for a first. I’m glad were running the ball but on big plays when the run has been stopped once, how about letting the generational QB make the play with his passing.

Anyway, that’s my rant about the play calling this game which was frankly quite scared but still smiling for the dub.

  14. SMDH THEY DIDNT PENALIZE HIM FOR TAKING HIS HELMET OFF AFTER THE CHANGE OF POSSESSION THIS IS RIGGED RIGGED RIGGED SMDH SMDHOG

  15. I see people already crying and saying Sneed taking his helmet off is “cheating”. Like it gave him an advantage. LMAO

    I’m embracing it.

  16. Always a good reminder that r/nfl is 90% Patriots fans who are in secure cuz clearly belichick sucks

  17. This is the problem with subs like r/nfl.

They throw hissy fits out of ignorance about calls they don’t understand and end up pruning anyone who knows anything about football from the sub and thus makes the sub even dumber in a perpetual cycle until it ends up like it is today, an echo chamber of “DERP?” “DERRRRP!”

  18. Ok NFL, Sauces PI shouldn’t be called but Sneeds should? Can’t have it both ways. Hate us cause they ain’t us.

  19. Do not let the shit hole that is /r/nfl gaslight you into thinking the Chiefs are favored by the refs.

That entire drive where MIN only managed to score a FG was aided by some of the most bullshit calls of the year, including JJ falling down ON HIS OWN resulting in a DPI.

MIN didn’t lose because of officiating. MIN lost because their coaches are incompetent. That’s not our problem.

Fuck them, fuck /r/nfl, go CHIEFS

  20. Rewatching that last play over and over.

All credit to Mike Danna for the sack to end it but…

Drue Tranquill is the only linebacker and looks to be spying on Cousins.

Chris Jones lined up by himself on the right, when Cousins starts that way, Jones moves to his right and makes Cousins turn back into Danna’s incoming sack. Drue is backing him up, also making Cousins turn back to his right.

Drue starts off moving right like he’s gonna bump one of the three receivers off the line but lets them go. Moving into the Jones double team and taking one of them off Chris.

On the left, we have Mike Danna, Felix Anudike-Uzomah and George Karlaftis all lined up outside the right tackle.

On the snap, George stunts to the inside, Chris takes on the double-team on the right side. FAU takes a deep route on the left side, sealing the edge, Mike Danna works his way around the right tackle, turning in, beating him on the way to the QB.

It looks chaotic, but I’d like to think this was a *VERY* well planned, well played, designed to end the game, blitz from Spags.

After watching it ten+ times (often at 1/16th speed,) I believe that is some *NASTY STUFF* from Spags & Co.

Hats off to Jones, Tranquill, Anudike-Uzomah, Karlaftis and ultimately, Mike Danna.

    *NICE WORK, BOYS!*

    ***HOW ‘BOUT THOSE CHIEFS!***
