  1. i have never been so hype watching the yahoo play-by-play ( I dont have bally sports SE) unfortunately) of a preseason game with the 3rd stringers in ever

  2. Bob went from calling her Tabitha to just tab by the end (what she introduced herself at the beginning)

  3. Your Hawks start the preseason strong with a win 108-107 in a fun game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Murray started off the game with a corner-three. With 4 and a half in the first, he picked up a Mitchell mis-dribble and found Johnson on the break for an explosive dunk. With under 6 minutes in the second, he hit an off-the-dribble three. Murray ended with 6 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists on 2/7. He was a bit rusty tonight, but I liked the amount of threes he put up in the time he played.

I liked how Bey looked tonight. He started the game and started strong with two contact finishes at the rim. With around two minutes in the first, he was able to get a foul call in the paint. He ended with 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals on 3/7 shooting. I personally thought he scored more. I liked his aggressiveness and ability to get to the rim. I thought he was active defensively hustling for balls and grabbing boards. He looked good overall.

Aj was decent. With about 5 minutes left in first AJ was passed the ball on a break opportunity and ended up missing an easy basket. With under 9 minutes in the second quarter, he made a floater. A couple of plays later he hit a step-through floater. With under 4 in the third quarter, AJ hit a three-coming-off movement. Aj ended with 11 points and 2 rebounds on 4/10 shooting and ¼ from three. At the beginning of the game, he looked similar to how he did in summer league. As the game progressed he started to look more comfortable with his dribble and shot. Hopefully, he can build on this going forward.

Trae looked like himself tonight. With under three minutes in the first Trae made three off the dribble. With under 11 minutes in the second Trae made a second long bomb. With under 10 minutes, Trae threw a bullet pass to Matthews for an open layup. He ended with 12 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists on 2/8 shooting, and 2/7 from three and 3 steals. Trae was very three-point happy tonight which I think is nice because the long-range bomb is a great skill he has. Passing was solid although he had 4 turnovers. It was especially bad in the first quarter. He was also able to draw fouls like he has been able to for years now.

OO was solid tonight. With under 10 seconds in the first OO hit a confident three-pointer from the top of the key. With around 2 minutes in the third OO hit his second three-pointer of the game again from the top of the key. He also had a couple of lob finishes and a nice euro step around his defender. He ended with 12 points and 2 rebounds on 5/7 shooting and ⅔ from three. It’s nice to see the 3-pointers develop along with the areas he is shooting them from.

Mohammed Gueye looked raw in general. He got a layup to go in after a full-court pass from Patty Mills for his only points of the game. Other than that he went 0/3 from three including an airball. He also lost his dribble when trying to get to the rim. He’s definitely a project player.

Jalen Johnson was solid for the game with 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists on ⅖ shooting including a three-point miss. That shot looked similar to the drills he has been doing in his training videos. To start the second quarter Jalen drove from the corner and took some contact in order to get a foul. He hit a putback off a Trae Young miss. Jalen showed off his vision with a nice pass on the inside to Clint for an open layup. With under 10 minutes in the third, he threw a lob to OO for a connection. With around 8 minutes he went off the dribble to hit a contact layup. In general, he looked good tonight when he was able to go off the dribble and be the secondary passer. He looked hesitant to shoot the three-pointer so I will be looking for that in the upcoming games to see the development progress.

Kobe was fine. With under 5 minutes in the second Kobe hit a three from the corner. A couple of possessions later he hit a pull-up midrange shot. To start the third Bufkin hit a layup. He ended with 9 points on 4/11 shooting. Although the shot wasn’t going in he looked confident like he belonged in the game similar to his summer league outing.

The player of the game goes to Trent Forest who had 11 in the 4th quarter including 2 clutch shot makes. He ended with 13 points, 2 rebounds 3 assists, and 2 steals on ⅚ shooting

  4. The only way this night could get better is if I finally make it into The 6th Man. Three years of tryouts, never got in, but I sure as hell dont have a voice anymore after this game. If you see this, I was number 2️⃣❤️

  5. Went to the game with a friend tonight via a corporate suite. All you can eat buffet and unlimited beer. What a night. Starters looked good, we had a fun ending, and I had free beer. Absolute vibes. Cawwww cawwww!!!

  6. The arena was louder tonight than it was for a lot of actual games last season. What a game!
