  1. Finally we have somebody who is willing to step up and just start shoving guys around the locker room who are playing like ass. CAPTAIN MATERIAL

  2. I’ve heard and seen nothing but good things from Quinn when he got the C. Excited to see the result on the ice.

  3. Pettersson sick of losing. Hughes sick of losing. Hopefully these guys stick around… we need them.

  4. Sounds like he’d slot right into the lineup with the Sudbury Fruit Salad French Spaniels

  5. And I’m so sick of losing, all the leads blown,

So done with wishing we’re not a joke

Said I’m so sick of losing, our D’s too slow

So, why can’t I turn off the radio?

  6. Sweet quote from Quinn:

    >”I’m like, yeah, we need to elevate within the group. It’s too hard to trade or get guys or this or that, so the only way we’re going to get better is guys within the group getting better. So how does that happen? You push guys.””

It’s no secret, but it really is hard to build a contender through trades and signings. Winning starts with a culture within. It’s amazing how mature he is to understand the business so well.

  7. Reading what Quinn has to say actually gives me some confidence in this team, because we have a good leader who will push everyone to be their best.

  8. I like the way he talks to the media. Horvat always gave very predictable and bland responses.

  9. As much as I love what Quinn is saying, it’s also just so…jarring? how much he’s already said accountability-wise than Horvat ever did.

And I loved Bo. But Quinn is immediately already speaking up so much about the losing and being tired of it, etc.
