  1. Jeff Rimer farewell tour. Shelley time in the booth or keep him and JLGP where they’re at and bring someone else in?

  2. They’re just dropping all the news on us today.

He’s been struggling for a few years but I’ll miss Rims, even the times when he screws up the names. Hope we can give him an enjoyable last season to call.

  3. Aw man. Like it’s definitely time but I’m gonna miss the hell out of him.

I’d love to see him and Billy D honored with something permanent in the arena sometime soon.

  4. Rims thank you and congrats on a great career in broadcasting. Enjoy your final season. Sure going to miss those Byers auto commercials lol

  5. Thanks for the years Jeff! Some great calls! Some real “wait what did he just say?!?” Moments! Hope whoever is next is as committed to the team as you have been!

  6. Grew up listening to Rimer commentate our games, definitely the end of an era. Really gonna be sad to see him gone even if he’s been a little slower over the last few years

  7. I say we sneak into the playoffs this year and give Rims one last chance to call a playoff game for us. He deserves it.

  8. I met him once and called him Mr. rhyme-er and now I’ll never be able to fix my shame.

  9. Well, there goes my Rimmer drinking game. Anytime you hear golden opportunity, in with speed, etc. this season take a drink. Much love, Rimmer!

Edit: Would absolutely love to see Bobby Mac get the gig after this

  10. Fare thee well Rims. Thanks for the memories. Love announcers that get so excited by the game and love for the team that they forget, well, most everyone’s names.
