4 Minnesota Twins who won’t be back next season – Puckett’s Pond

  1. My only question about next year is who will be playing CF. If, as they say, Taylor won’t be back, and it’s doubtful that Buxton will ever regularly play CF, who else do we have?

  2. I keep reading that Byron likely never play CF again, but I haven’t heard why. Can anyone give me the backstory on that? Type of injury he has or his history of frequently being injured?

  3. Solid take IMHO. MAT gets paid elsewhere and takes his 130 K’s him. Castro and maybe Martin play CF assuming Buck can’t. Leaves enough to make a good run at keeping Sonny on a 3 (or better 2) year deal.

  4. I think we are bringing back MAT. It’s too big of a risk to put Martin in CF and Castro isn’t quite good enough. I’ve read that Polanco doesn’t figure in the Twins long term plans. His injuries are degenerative and we have too many infielders. I’d bring him back but I think Falvey won’t.

  5. Taylor’s playoff performance should be enough to prove why he’s worth keeping, no? Him and Correa completely handled one of the wildcard games
