  1. Bummer. But hopefully it gets him back fully health for the 2025 season since it was a tear vs just being some chronic inflammation issue that some times can’t be fixed.

  2. Wish they would have done this earlier instead of trying to get him back this season. Shoulders hardly ever heal with time. You could tell the moment he came back he wasn’t the same. Oh well, see you in 2025.

  3. Anthopolous said his people told him there was an excellent chance Wright would return and regain his form, as they also said about Fried, and that information was why he didn’t offer more to land a starting pitcher at the trade deadline. Not that the pitching was why they lost again.

  4. At least there won’t be any wondering or surprise this season: the pitching rotation will be forced to be addressed, somehow.
