  1. I listened to this earlier and if anyone wants a TLDR: He didn’t really give that much interesting analysis.

Trevor processes quickly. He gets the ball out quick and decisively. He said the throws he is making regularly to Ridley are not as easy as they look and really impressive. The Zay Jones TD was maybe the most impressive TD he has seen all year. And then said the second fumble Trevor lost was concerning and adds to a concerning pattern of him not knowing when to just admit defeat on a play, let it be a “zero” instead of turning a “zero” into a “minus”.

Side note though as someone who likes the Athletic podcast. I haven’t been a fan of these Chase Daniel episodes at all this year. He is a new voice on the show (retired, most recently was backup QB for Chargers last year and now he’s trying to get into media). I feel like he dominates the talking time on the show and uses way too many words to say way too little. I also feel like he’s rarely giving any interesting or unique insights on QBs. It has got a little better, but he also was making *so* many weird snorting/sniffling noises and shit the first few episodes. It was almost comical. Like… “yeah, so *SNORT* what I really love about this guy *SNIFF… SNORT** was his…”

he also seems really determined to side track constantly to make sure listeners know he was a QB in the NFL and that he personally knows X coach or X assistant coach/QB coach from this place. He doesn’t add any insights when he name drops, either. He just points out that he knows them and takes forever sniffing and snorting to do it.

    /end rant.
