We all knew Dlo was ICEY, but THIS new kind of Dlo aka 3&Dlo actually playing decent D, that’s all we needed, decent D! It just unlocks so much more of what this team could be capable of!

I’m going to say it, if he keeps playing this way making winning plays on defense until the next trade deadline (meaning he can play playoffs basketball) I’d keep him.
He’s been playing so well lately on both ends that I’m really worried he’s about to start slumping at a bad time (almost said worst time but the worst time is the offs lol)
He’s scoring on drives to the basket more than I’ve ever seen him do
Apart from personal growth on both ends, I think ADs willingness to shoot, Prince being a knockdown, and just having more shooters in general also opens up the lanes. Last year, both Vandos and ADs men would just cheat over and pack the paint. Now that step or two they can’t afford to give as much allows him to get to the rim more often.
That’s one thing I noticed last season other than his maturity. He actually tries on defense and fights through screens. Has active hands and good instincts. Like someone else commented, decent defense. It’s not spectacular but good enough.
I didn’t understand all the talk of DLo before the season being a glorified trade piece. Dude has all-star cred and was a baby laker ! If he’s worked on his defense he could be essential to a chip
He’s gotten better on defence since moving to minny a year ago euth pat bev he was a huge part of thst defence Dlo Is a great team defender n communicator. Can’t tell if less valuable here cos Lebron does that roke too but skso could be a case of the more the better, combined euth AD we can make average defenders know where to be to improve our team def. I do wonder if we should trade Vincent for Caruso , but what we saw of vando we might not need to if he can do anything on offence . Our team offence looks scary
