  3. We won! We got a PP goal, Korchinski got his first NHL point and we broke Matthews goal streak!

  4. Lots of positives to take from this game:

    – 4-1 win against a really good Leafs team

    -Taylor Hall is back out on the ice after his injury

    -Bedard and Korchinski look really confident with the puck and both gave the team some very prime scoring chances today

  6. * Murphy fought Gregor, taking exception to his hit on Zaitsev.
    * Entwistle scored on a feed from Athanasiou.
    * Tavares scored on a feed from Nylander, who undressed Murphy.
    * Perry scored on a breakaway off a nice stretch pass by Vlasic.
    * T. Johnson scored on a rush, breaking the Hawks’ 0-for-16 PP streak.
    * Korchinski earned his first NHL point.
    * A Hall ENG was overturned for offsides. A late Nylander goal was also overturned.
    * Raddysh scored an ENG.
    * Bedard was matched up against Matthews for most of the first 2 periods. Neither scored.
    * Soderblom saved 36-of-37.

  7. Need to invest in a cloning program so Richardson can couch every Chicago team. Crazy what he has been able to get from his squads

  8. Even with no points Bedsy still looked productive, Vlasic had himself a great night being +4(?) and having 2 assists, Soda stood on his head, and overall our defensive sticks were phenomenal. I’m loving the evolution of this team so far!

    #HAWKS WIN!!!

  16. So far happy with my choice in following hockey for the first time. The only solid chicago team so far!

  17. Fantastic game by the Hawks! Don’t wanna speak in hyperbole but I don’t see us ever losing a hockey game ever again

  18. Hawks playing to the level of their competition so far this year. I swear we’ve seen that before…

    Well played game tonight! You love to see it! The ending got plenty of laughs out of me. I enjoyed that as well.

  24. Vlasic was very impressive. Korchinski and Kaiser have looked very promising as well and Soderblom was excellent. The future is bright! Bedard will be Bedard but its the auxiliary pieces that make a contender, hopefully some of these guys can be the real deal

  25. Vlasic has been solid so far this year, but he really took a step forward tonight. Dude is starting to look like his cousin out there, which would be huge for us.

    I’d like to see Phillips in for Kaiser for at least a few games. Kaiser clearly has potential but he’s still a little too green.

    Korchinski is probably gonna stay up, which will give us a bit of a logjam in defensive prospects that need NHL time. That’s a great problem to have.

  26. Vlasic was amazing, Korchinski/Kaiser both looked great and better than their veteran partners (not hard for Wyatt to do lol), and Söderblom was unbelievable.

    Bedard continues to be inches or less from having a multi-point night, but no reason for concern considering how many chances he consistently creates. Not at all loving the second line and every game that passes it looks more and more like Reichel needs to switch back to wing so hopefully that comes soon.

    Obligatory please for the love of fuck swap Korchinski and Jones on PP1. WHY Luke.

  33. I’m a little pissed off, we almost got the W and I woulda got my Tims points but nah, the league just had to call Mathews goal off lol
