Has anybody asked if Jimmy thinks he needs a star?
Or the media needs to stop acting like he doesn’t have help. That’s why folks think Herro is washed now and Bam not that good. He HAS help. Just gotta stay healthy and play up to Par. Which I believe will be this year.
Media went 3 months saying how the heat didn’t have enough for dame and how they didn’t deserve him to now saying jimmy needs help. Bunch of hypocrites
Does he need help though? I thought we are just bound to be doom in many ways. Isn’t that why we can’t even play for the last Christmas game when we were playing for the ECF?!?! After all, it’s not like we have gotten to 3 ECFs in the past 4 seasons. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It’s too bad Herro was injured last playoff run. I’m ready to run it back though and I do think Jimmy and this Heat team have enough. While I think the Bucks have the better overall team, I like our chances against them in a playoff series.
Celtics got better offensively but I think their defense took a hit. Porzingis was a good addition for them.. but I think he is one of the most injury prone players? Like I’m pretty sure Kawhi Leonard is more available than he is. And not sure with him being out, the loss of Rob Williams, and then Al Horford already showing signs of age and is 37 is going to anchor that defense. Holiday is an upgrade over Smart, but not sure how well he fits in with the combo of Tatum/Brown being so ball dominant as is.
I have no faith in the 76ers.
And then I flat out think Miami is just simply better than everyone else in the east.
Some of the above is homerism, but I can’t see how the Heat aren’t viewed as a top 3 team in the East. It’s tough not to put the Bucks/Celitcs ahead of us given their additions, but they also have to prove those additions on the court too.

I think Herro and Bam are a good supporting cast, but they really need to trade Lowry and those two firsts to round out the lineup with some significant talent.

This is like when people tried to pretend kawhi’s 2019 raptors run was a carry job just because they only remember the sixers series (which was a carry job). FVV and siakam were dominant as fuck in the finals
