The pocket was clean, nothing i hate more than a gun shy quarterback in clean pocket
I dont have the footage but theres a play in the redzone where geno throws to a contested lockett where it looked like Jsn could have had a better opportunity for a touchdown (sometime in the 2nd half right before our 2nd field goal). If you have that footage can you confirm?
That 2nd to last play is sooo frustrating. I was yelling at the tv when that happened.
What makes it more confusing as you said is geno is staring right at him
You should do JSNs film for the season! Cause I bet you this isn’t the first time JSN has been open consistently throughout the season
Geno just doesn’t seem to see him or maybe he’s told to only progress through x amount of reads on a lot of plays. If they shifted him into a read 1 spot for some plays I think he’d get the ball a lot more.
He had more targets and catches because he was on the field more due to 11 personnel. The 3 weeks prior to the Bengals we were in a ton of 12 personnel to protect Geno. We should have remained in 12 personnel last week
