I wanted him & John Johnson iii to be signed this offseason and we know how that went. Bryce won’t be our secondary savior but he would sure help a bleeding unit that just sucks right now. I’m honestly still baffled that he hasn’t signed anywhere yet. But I belieeevvve!
In all seriousness, I think Callahan makes sense but I think we’ve all been saying that for a while with no action. Hopefully we’ll pull the trigger.
We need outside help more than slot
I don’t understand how we didn’t retain him and KVN. KVN signed for a small amount with Baltimore, how did we not resign him? Yeah taxes are crazy here in CA, but like we couldn’t give incentives or some other form to make up. Pisses me off that we have such incompetence in the box office.
These two moves I never understood. Check my post history, I’m too lazy to do it myself but I genuinely asked, is anyone else afraid that the FO is just assuming JC Jackson is going to come back 100% from a career ending injury? Even if he does, he wasn’t looking that good beforehand.
This season we were supposed to be all in. We really needed Bryce Callahan to eliminate that slot threat. Adding John Johnson gives Staley options in those nickel/dime formations. We wouldn’t be here if we had those two guys. Fucking imbeciles.
if our season depends on callahan then it’s better to just fold completely.
Staley really had ja’sir taylor covering ceedee lamb for most of the game 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Best they’ll do is a CB from the Texans practice squad lol

At this point KVN would be better than having Bosa rn.
We can still go all in and all these moves are either cheap asf or a no brainer… but hey what do I know.. these dumb fucks aka the FO, rather watch Good Fellas or some shit than improve the roster.
• Sign Michael Schofield III for depth on the O-Line.
• Sign RB Leonard Fournette or Kenyan Drake to help Ekeler & Kelley and improve the run game. Spiller is just useless at this point and Dotson ain’t ready until next yr.
• Bring back Bryce Callahan for Slot CB and better depth.
• Guyton & OG return week 9.
• Utilize QJ & Davis more to help the offense.
• Please just have Derwin play dime LB next to Kendricks a lot more. I know Murray has been ok but he’s better as the 3rd LB and gives us better depth when he’s rotating in. Allows Gilman to play SS where he’s more comfortable and Marlowe can stay at Free. Having him over woods has been an upgrade.
He’s played better last year than all of our DBs this year.
