I remember watching this on Hard Knocks and just like first moment and everytime since it still tugs at my soul and gets me teary eyed. MCDC is one hell of a coach and an even better Man!
Jamaal no longer with us but there is reason last week MCDC shouted him out as being apart of culture shift and this clip embodies all the reasons, an then what he did on field last year.
Couldn’t be more proud of Lions this year but never forget how past 2 years and especially the Journey that took place to where we are now!

Cool. Why do people constantly make these posts like everyone forgot about jamaal. Yeah I loved him, but he’s not on the current team. Why do so many fans live in the past so much
His agent did him so dirty. His numbers for the next three years with the Saints will be nothing compared to what they would have been with the Lions. His next contract is going to be ugly.
Man I know I say I want everyone to be a coach of the Lions one day, and I never want to become some kind of self fallating boys club like the worst of the Edmonton Oilers, just hiring guys whose best coaching and managing skills were “played with the Great One”. But I want Jamaal to one day be the Lions RB coach, he’s a motivator of men, he’s a grit and grind and overachiever. I hope one day we have Coach Kazekage.
I think the Saints will be the 2nd half (of the season) sleepers. They are really close like Detroit was last year. Idt Derrick Carr is the answer (to any question) and they need help with their O interior, but they are hungry. And there’s no quit in NOLA.
I wish we could trade for him back, but no way we take his contract on.
Offer a 2027 5th round pick for him, 4th if he reached playing time incentives. He was used sparingly last night. We need another back.
