Caleb williams is the worst QB in the NCAA when it comes to dealing with pressure. Something any QB behind the Patriots line current line would have to deal with
Watching Caleb Williams last week against Notre Dame, and now this week against Utah… he sucks. Racks up all the stats against garbage competition, but when he has to play the big boys? Ouch.
I feel bad for whoever picks this dude #1, he’s gonna bust.
I really don’t like the top projected QBs in the draft. I really think the Patriots need to focus on getting the top tackle in the draft with their first pick. Moving brown to RT and hopefully getting the guards healthy next year could transform the line and maybe reinvigorate the run game. I am not sure you can build around a qb when you are this light on offensive talent. I think we are a few pieces away before we can find the qb of the future.
Where are Penix, Nix, and Maye?
These are results for QB’s who’ve had at least 75 dropbacks where they were pressured. Nix, Penix and Maye haven’t been pressured on that many dropbacks. But fwiw
Bo Nix has a 73.9 offensive grade when pressured
Penix 69.1 offensive grade when pressured
Maye 62.2 offensive grade when pressured
Another reason to build the team instead of hoping for Caleb at #1

Can someone explain to me how Alex Finn with 219 yards, 4.5 ypa, zero td’s and 3 picks has double the grade as Caleb Williams.
Anybody who says they don’t like Caleb Williams atttude/arrogance but would be on board for Shedeur hasn’t been paying attention
Spencer Rattler lowkey in the Second or 3rd round would be great. He has probably one of the worst P5 OL and he still makes play. We grab an OT and WR for the first 2 rounds. Rattler also has the arm talent.

Drafting Taulia and having the brother rivalry would be awesome. (Obviously he would have to be good for it to be fun)
A lot of legacy QBs on this list. Really didn’t realize so many were playing at the same time.
