Andy Reid after Travis Kelce’s big day: Taylor Swift ‘can stay around all she wants’

Are we all Swifties now? 💅

  1. If her being in the stadium makes Travis play like he has in the games she attends, then yes. She can come watch whenever she wants.

  2. I’ll get some booty shorts and start twerking to shake it off during half time if it keeps Trav putting up these numbers.

  3. Goddamnit Big Red smh, not you too.

Bro bring on the downvotes, IDGAF. I’m so sick of this whole thing.

  4. I‘m actually impressed with Travis compartmentalizating ability. That gigantic media attention could have been a massive distraction, but he just keeps doing his thing.

  5. I want her to star around just because it pisses off a certain type of fan. Makes me happy.

  6. As an Eagles fan, I feel bad for Chiefs fans who just want to enjoy the game and not have to be bombarded with this constant nonsense. Considering we have Jason Kelce on our team, we get some of the overflow, but it’s not as bad as what you’ve got to deal with week in and week out. So I feel for you…even though I’ll be pulling against you when we meet up later in the season.

  7. To answer your caption at the bottom….no i am not, nor will i be a swiftie my friend. But it’s fine if yall are i guess

  8. If KC hosts the AFC Championship game, I hope she sings the national anthem.

Just lean alllllllllllll the way into this. It would be amazing.

  9. I can’t understand being frustrated at this, at all. Those who have been fans for quite some time spent years, if not decades, absolutely begging to have a team good enough to get any kind of vaguely positive media attention. Now that we have that team, this is what comes with the territory. Plus, you’re a fool if you think the NFL wouldn’t milk the Travis-Taylor connection for everything it’s worth.

She’s onscreen for maybe a minute or two in aggregate each game she’s there, and to my knowledge no network has missed plays or anything like that to show her – CBS made me miss half the first quarter yesterday by staying on that Browns-Colts game, and I’m actually frustrated by that, not any of the Taylor stuff.

  10. She shows up for a grand total of about 2 minutes of the broadcast. It’s entirely innocuous. People getting angry about it are mystifying.

It also drives /r/NFL nuts, which is great. They’re obsessed with the idea that the NFL is rigging things in the Chiefs’ favor, and Taylor Swift’s existence provides a motive for their collective delusion.

  11. I’ve been a Chiefs fan since 1993 and I’ve never seen anything like this. Reid is a chameleon- he can adjust to anything. This team feels like the 2001 Los Angeles Lakers in terms of starpower.

  12. They keep broadcasting the games so i dont have to buy the nfl ticket. Keep showing up Taylor. You are saving me a few 100$.
