  1. Sounds like he’s done managing but wants to remain in baseball in some capacity. Would love to have him in the Dodgers org if that’s the case. Love Dusty

  2. Nah man. We’re good, he’s already coached for two hated organizations. Don’t need him bringing that junk to the clubhouse . Don’t get me wrong, he was my favorite player when I was a kid. I loved seeing him in left field with the bubblegum raining down from the pavilion for him.
That’s the Dusty I prefer to remember

  3. Remember when he blew the 2002 WS with the loaded Giants up 5 runs in the 7th inning with a 3-2 series lead?

Then he blamed Steve Bartman for blowing a 3 run lead in the 8th with a 3-2 series lead?

Then he couldn’t get past the first round with the Nationals and blew a 2-1 series lead against us, then blew a big lead in game 5 the following year against the Cubs?

Not to mention throwing Mark Prior’s arm into the ground by having him throw 130 pitches per game after they had already clinched the division

  4. What a long and amazing career. Hopefully he can come back home and advise, but if he chooses to rest, that’s good too 🫡
